1899 1894Achter & Ebels is founded.
1929 1894For the first time, Achter & Ebels supplied the automotive industry with automotive upholstery fabrics (Opel).
1934 First major order from the automotive industry.
1982 With the foundation of the first subsidiary in Spain, the internationalization of the AUNDE Group begins.
1985 With the acquisition of the seat manufacturer ESTEBAN, Achter & Ebels takes the first step towards becoming a supplier of complete seat systems for busses and passenger cars (VW Polo).
1991 1894The AUNDE Group acquires the ISRINGHAUSEN Group and with it the development and production of seat systems for commercial vehicles and technical springs.
The rise to a global player in the industry begins.
2007 The AUNDE Group acquires the automotive division of DeWitte.
2014 1987The AUNDE Group acquires FEHRER, one of the world’s leading specialists in the development and production of components for vehicle interiors.
2018 With the founding of the AUNDE Group SE, the company with 116 plants in 29 countries stands for an international range of innovative interior solutions.
2020 The AUNDE Group acquires Reinert, a plastics specialist.
